New paint job

Nate has been wanting his room painted. So, for Christmas I decided to do it for him.
We did two walls with kelly green on the top half of the wall and brown for the bottom half. I painted yard lines to make the green look like a football field. Special thanks to Chelsee, Tessa and Bell for helping me paint!! Then I put wallpaper up where the green and brown meet. Special thanks to Jenny and Chelsee for the help with that!
I borrowed Joanna's cricut machine and had too much fun with it!!! I want one. Thanks Grandma and Chelsee for helping put up the vinyl. I think his room looks pretty awesome. :) I can't wait to paint my own home someday

doesn't this look sweet!

NASCAR

I can't believe I forgot to blog this!!
NASCAR was in November 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona.

When I lived in Las Vegas, I was hired by a model and talent agency to do "promotional modeling", which pretty much means wear their t-shirt, hand out free stuff and look pretty :)
The agency has tons of clients and my very first job was with NASCAR!! I was so excited when they asked me to come.
The first day at NASCAR, I was in a booth at the prize wheel. (spin the wheel, win a prize) It was so much fun!
The second and third day I had a bag of things to hand out (flags, koozie's and lanyards) and I got to go wherever I wanted to hand them out. I went up in the stands, all around to all the booths and even outside of the stadium. I met so many rednecks!! ha ha. I have never seen so many camo pants, cut-off sleeves and missing teeth in my life!!
There were also some guys preaching and I got a free pass into heaven!

This is one of the other girls I worked with.

This was during the practice runs, (that's why there aren't many fans)

Morgan came on the last day to watch the race.

Christmas Candy

For the Spillett Christmas party, we were all supposed to bring a yummy treat. I decided to impress everybody with chocolate-dipped caramel pretzels.

Morgan even helped me! We had lots of fun.

Neither of us were quite sure how to do this, so after about 4 hours,
a very messy kitchen with tons of dirty dishes,

AND some burnt caramel,

We finally figured it out!!!
These are our ending masterpieces

Thanks for all the help Morgan :)

Armor Pest Defense

For the past two summers, Morgan has been going to Las Vegas to sell pest control door-to-door. He has done really really well. So, he decided it is time to start up his own company. He is partnering in the business with my dad and my brother, Shon. The company will be based in Phoenix, AZ. Shon is already down there getting the office going and Morgan & I are in Logan hiring salesmen. Our first sales season will begin in March of this year. We are so excited! The business plan looks very promising and we will probably be in this business for a long time.
